some-time-in-the camp's hospital. All three of the men who died at Fort Selkirk were buried there.
One other serving member of the Yukon Field Force, Corporal M. Watson, died in Dawson in March 1900 and is buried in that community.
The four members of the Yukon Field Force who died in service, along with their commanding officer Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas D. B. Evans, are commemorated in the names of five minor peaks near Fort Selkirk.
